Our Main Events.
At Phi Psi, we strive to become better members of the community through philanthropy and community service.
We regularly partner up with the Boys and Girls Club of Lansing during the fall where we put on a haunted house for the children. This is one of our longest running events and one of the most fun since it is a great way to help our the Boys and Girls club in a manner most of the kids enjoy.
In the Spring of 2017, we started an annual indoor volley ball tournament to fund-raise for the Boys and Girls Club of Flint to help with the current and ongoing Flint Water Crisis. This was our most successful event EVER, raising over $11,000 dollars to purchase Clean Sip water purification straws from our now partner nonprofit, Water Is Life founded by Ken Surrite.
This following Spring, we followed up our success from 2017 with another great Volleyball tournament. When the school year starts back up in Fall of 2018, we will be introducing a brand new philanthropy event with a week of service, so be sure to check back here and on our Facebook page for more info!
While we only have a few events every semester, there are many more in which we participate. One of the many benefits of Greek Life is getting to participate in numerous other philanthropy fundraising events. Almost every house on campus has two or three events a year. And given the raw size Michigan State's Greek Life, that equates to a myriad of different opportunities to not only help a charity, but also to have fun! Check out some of the pictures below to see a few of the events!
